The information regarding a pre-wedding or a couple engagement shooting are listed below. After that, we answer all frequently asked question regarding our Barcelona wedding photography services.
BEFORE YOUR SHOOT
Are you still available for my date?
The fastest way to find out is to submit an inquiry through our contact form. Our most popular starting times are during golden hour, sunrise or twilight. However, we can accommodate shoots around the clock.
What are your rates?
At Barcelona for Two we offer individual packages for everyone and every budget. You choose the number of photos you wish to purchase, at a maximum price of € 5.50 per image.

Full session (100+ photos) €290
Nighttime Barcelona photo sessions require an assistant at €100/hour to help with lighting, assist with crowd management, and to protect your belongings from theft (which is a real concern). Assistants can also help carrying some of your props and bags so you are free to connect with your loved one and enjoy the Experience.
How do we book you?

How many hours of photography coverage do we need?
It really depends on you, your energy, and budget. That said, our most popular Collections are our 1.5h + 1.5h ( sunrise + evening, including the magical Blue Hour) and our 3-hour sunrise session. Please keep in mind that commute and outfit changes are part of your commissioned coverage.
What are your tips regarding outfit?
Glad you asked … first and foremost you and your significant other should feel comfortable. You should can try to match up your styles. So that you both are dressed casual, or a bit more classy. We suggest simple and plane colors for your main parts of your clothing (dress, pants and shirt). You can spice up your outfit with colorful accessories. You should avoid white clothing since it might cause you to look pale. Also try to avoid to have a sunburn on the day of your photography session.
The most important advice regarding clothing is that your clothes should have a good fit. Imagine seeing those images 5 or 10 years from now. If you like, wear something timeless, not to flashy.
Try to come without a backpack or shopping bags since you would have to put them aside and risk them to get stolen. There are save luggage locker near Plaça de Catalunya.
DURING YOUR SHOOT
What if it rains?
We can control almost every element of your Barcelona photo session except the weather (rain, wind, cold, etc.) … and quite frankly with over 800 shoots per year, it would be impossible to run a world-class studio based on weather conditions.
That said, some of our most award-winning Barcelona photo shoots took place in the rain—and it makes perfect sense since rain photos are rarer and rain actually has the potential to enhance the romantic mood with reflective surfaces in a scenic environment.
In addition, the idea of rain scares away other tourists, making for more privacy. Finally, an overcast sky creates flattering and even light.
During the winter months, we recommend bringing a warm layer and perhaps a pair of comfy boots you can easily switch into.
What if I’m running a little late?
We understand that life can sometimes get in the way 🙂 … Barcelona is a busy city, jet-lakes suck.
That said, just as you’d expect your photographer to arrive on time, we ask that you kindly arrive punctually as well. We book multiple shoots per day and need to make sure that our photographers are available for their next booking … well-rested and well-prepared.
The maximum amount of time we contractually wait for you at the agreed meeting point is 15 minutes from your official starting time.
AFTER YOUR SHOOT
How many photos do I get?
You receive a link to a private on-line gallery with all images. For your convenience we try to preselect images (missed focus, closed eyes, duplicates, etc.)
The preview images are watermarked, however your final delivery is watermark-free and will be masterfully edited and delivered to you in high resolution print-ready digital format (JPEG).
That means you can download your photo files and get them professionally printed at a local photo lab near you.
What’s the process and turnaround time for my photos?
within only 24-48 hours after your Barcelona photo shoot, you’ll typically receive an online proofing link to view your entire gallery. The link includes all photos from your session in unedited, screen-optimized (low resolution) format;
since it’s a proofing gallery, you’ll not be able to download the photos, yet. Instead, you’ll select your favorite photos and make your selection. The sooner you make your selections, the faster we can get started with the editing process and return the photos to you.
Do you edit my photos?
Yes! We take great pride in making your photos look absolutely stunning. Our goal is to edit your photo selections the exact same way we edit the photos you see on our website and social media. That means we invest real time (4-10 minutes per photo), resources, and money into our editing services. And unlike many studios who simply apply a preset filter across all of your photos with the click of a button, we actually custom-edit each of your photos by hand and with love.
Here’s what you should expect from our standard photo edit that comes with your Collection:
adjustments to exposure, sharpness, contrast, and highlights;
cropping for beautiful composition;
horizontal and vertical rotation to ensure elements such as buildings and horizons look perfect;
color, vibrancy, and saturation enhancements;
skin smoothing (optional);
beautification (thinning) of arms, legs, body, and chin (optional);
removal of blemishes, scars, moles, or possibly even stains from your outfits;
removal of distracting elements (other people, trash and structures) whenever easily possible and desirable.
Here’s what is not included in a standard edit, but which you may request for an additional fee:
black & white versions of your photos;
adding a more flattering sky or otherwise fundamentally altering the integrity of the original image (depends on the image);
removing wallets, phones, or anything from your pockets;
smoothing wrinkles in your outfits, including shirts, gowns, pants, …;
clone a body part, eyes, etc. from a similar photo to a different photo.

How many photos deliver by wedding?
Normally we deliver between 600 and 800 images of a wedding day. There is no accurate number, this will vary depending on the event, but we will always try to deliver you the greatest number of photos possible while actively working towards quality over quantity. We always try to capture all wedding guests, but if your wedding crowed is larger than 150 people, you might consider to choose a package which includes a second photographer.
How can we book?

We need a 60% reservation deposit + a contract signed by the two of you to reserve your date. We always keep prices once the first payment is made.
When can we see our photos?
Normally within 3 to 5 weeks approximately from the date of your wedding. We deliver 24h after few highlights images of your wedding which you than can share with your friends and family while everybody is waiting for the full delivery.
Where can we see all the photos of the event?
The photos will be on a personalized web page where you can see, share and download all your pictures.
Can we print our photos?
Yes, we offer a print service, just make you choose the photos you like, the measure and i would send them to your home.
Could you recommend us locations, wedding planners and other suppliers?
Of course. We have a great network of professional we always have the pleasure to recommend.
In addition, if you have any doubt where to celebrate your wedding we can give you advice, overall sites where the photos of your wedding will stunning. For example charming villas at the Costa Brava, farmhouses in villages of Sitges or some nearby places of Barcelona are some of our favorite places!
Do you do albums?
Yes, we offer all our customers high quality albums. You can see how they are here.
Do you do want a pre-wedding, post-wedding or family sessions?
Just consult me about these options to inform you of prices.
Would you travel to cover our wedding?
Yes. We are also photographers of destination weddings, we love to travel and explore different cultures.
We have our passports ready! Tell us the details of your wedding and we will send you a budget with transportation costs included. All we require are 2 nights of accommodation, aircraft tickets and transportation until the wedding place.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Yes, we do.

Where are you from?
Lübeck, Germany, a town in the northern part of Germany near the Baltic Sea, 45 minutes from Hamburg. I am living now in Barcelona for a few years and love the city.
What happens if you get sick?
We have covered many weddings and we have not missed one. We have a list of friendly photographic friends to whom we can call to make a second photographer, assistant or supplant us in case of emergency.
Should we provide food during the day?
It is not mandatory, but we recommend it. The average wedding day last between 10 and 12 hours. We bring snacks and water with us, but a small rest to dinner and regain energy is great to keep fresh and recover for the rest of the wedding day.
